Hospital and Surgery Rider (H&S)

Hospital & Surgery rider is an additional coverage of comprehensive hospitalization and medical expenses on top of base life insurance policy.

H&S in not a standalone product so customers can only buy from plan 1-8 as a package together with saving products like Short Term Endowment, Education and Student Life Insurance.

It depends on the base plan Age Bracket. Only eligible age applicable under base plan will also be eligible for rider.

Yes. OPD benefit and hospitalization benefits will be offered separately as described in the benefit table.

No, old policy holders of base policy cannot buy product package.

Lower SA band of base plan cannot buy higher plan of H&S.

Critical Care Insurance

Death Benefit/ Medical Treatment due to the following medical occurrences:-
1. Heart attack
2. Stroke
3. Life threatening Cancer
4. Renal failure
5. Major organ transplant
6. Heart valve replacement or repair
7. Coronary artery bypass surgery
8. Severe burns
9. Coma and
10. Bacterial Meningitis

Available Units
Minimum: 1 unit
Maximum: 10 units
Premium rates can be varied depending on the age of the insured.
Premium can be paid as individual or group.
For individual, premium can be paid in semi-annul or annual.
For group, premium can be paid in all modes; monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual.

1 unit = 1,000,000 Kyats
10 units = 10,000,000 Kyats

Health Insurance

i.     Hospitalization (due to accident/disease)

iv.   Miscarriage

v.    Out Patient Department (OPD)

In order to get the coverage of “Surgery & OPD” you also need to buy the basic cover “Hospitalization” as well.

 

You can get the hospitalization fee from 10,000 Kyats to 100,000 kyats.
